Rosebuds of Faith Series:Silence Before God

"Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people
renew their strength; let them come near; then let them
speak; let us come near together to judgement."
Isaiah 41:1

When we are quiet before the LORD, that is when He
does the most of His communication. That is when we
can actually listen and hear Him speaking to us. If we
are always on the move, with distractions and other
activity around us, we cannot fine tune our ear to
hear His marvelous voice.

If we will draw close to Him, He will draw close to us.
He will renew our strength....we need it to get through
every single day. We cannot do it on our own. Nothing
of value can be accomplished without it.

We must tell Him, with our praise, how much we love
Him. We should tell Him our worries, our fears, and
how much we need His intercession in our lives. We must
also listen to Him, and allow His wisdom to become part
of our very being.

Then we must come together, a great brotherhood. We
must live in unity, and truth, and love. Then will life
flow in and around us, filled with the love of God, and
our love for one another.

Silence brings forth much. We just need to realize that.
And then we must experience it. Once we've done that, we
will really experience the presence, the power, the majesty
of our great LORD Jehovah.

Blessings!
