'Glorify the LORD with me;let us exalt His name together.' (Psalm 34:3)
This verse is one of my favorites. There is just something about exalting His name that speaks to a Christian's heart.
Praise Him when you are happy, and praise Him when you are not. Singing, shouting, simply speaking His name has an effect on us, and we begin to feel the joy that He has placed in our souls as we offer up praise. Praise Him with your friends, or praise Him in your quiet place, but praise Him with your heart.
Today, make a concerted effort to spend time showing God just how much you love and value Him. Praise Him, don't just pray, don't just read your Bible. Praise His holy name, bless His name, love His name. And then enjoy the wonderful fullness that comes with the praise, the fullness of joy. He is more than worthy.
